Pirelli announces Monaco tyre choices

Pirelli, Formula 1's official tyre supplier, has released the teams' tyre choices ahead of the Monaco Grand Prix, which takes place Sunday 29 May. For the very first time the the purple-walled ultra-soft compound have been made available.

Red Bull Racing, Mercedes and Renault's Kevin Magnussen all chose the same, most aggressive tyre strategy with one soft, two super-softs and 10 ultra-softs. Williams surprised by only choosing seven sets of the quickest rubber.
