Video: Max talks about Austrian Grand Prix and fans

On Thursday afternoon, Max Verstappen flew aboard a DC-6 from Salzburg to Zeltweg near the Red Bull Ring. On board the fully restored plane, Max was joined by Red Bull Racing team mate Daniel Ricciardo, their team’s boss Christian Horner and thirty journalists.

“The race at Spielberg is always great. There are a lot of fans and there’s even a grand stand for the Dutch fans”, said Max prior to boarding. “It’s going to be an amazing atmosphere and special to see all the orange in the stands. It’s a home race for Red Bull and with all the fans I’m sure it’s going to be a great weekend.”

Looking forward the Austrian Grand Prix, Max said: “Realisticaly, winning will be difficult because of the long straigths. But hopefully our fans will cheer us on and give us a bit of extra energy to get a good result here at the Red Bull Ring."
