Published on 07 August 2016 by Mike Motilall

The F1 sole tyre supplier Pirelli has revealed the different tyre choices for the Belgian Grand Prix. The Italian based company supplies three tyre-compounds every GP-weekend. It is mandatory for the teams to use two during the race.

This time round it’s Mercedes that has a very different tyre choice compared to the other teams. Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg have both chosen only four sets of the super-soft compound, whereas Ferrari has chosen seven sets of the scarlet striped tyre.

Red Bull Racing drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen, each have six sets of the super-softs to their disposal.
