Formula 1’s tyre supplier Pirelli, has announced the team’s choices for the Singapore Grand Prix. As usual, the Italian firm provides three compounds per race weekend. For the upcoming event, the soft, super-soft and ultra-soft tyres are available for the drivers.
Max Verstappen and his team mate Daniel Ricciardo have made fairly conservative choices with both drivers opting for two sets of the soft, four of the super-soft and seven of the ultra-soft Pirellis.
Ferrari and Haas F1 have gone aggressive with their tyre strategy. Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen, Romain Grosjean and Esteban Guttierez have all got nine sets of the ultra-soft compound available.
