Pirelli announces tyre choices for Japanese GP

The F1 sole tyre supplier Pirelli has revealed the different tyre choices for the Japanese Grand Prix. The Italian based company supplies three tyre-compounds every GP-weekend. It is mandatory for the teams to use two during the race.
This time round, it’s mainly the aggressive tyre choice by Ferrari that’s the talk of the town. Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen both have nine sets of the yellow striped compound tyre at their disposal.
Compare that to the more conservative choice of Red Bull Racing. They are going to run with six sets of the soft compound for both Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen. With Mercedes on eight sets, we can expect different strategies from the three top teams for the race in Japan.
