Max to test 2017 Pirellis on Tuesday afternoon

Max Verstappen will try out the new, wider Pirellis tyres for the 2017 campaign on Tuesday. At the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, where hefinished the last Grand Prix of the year in fourth, the Dutchman will share driving duties for Red Bull Racing with his team mate Daniel Ricciardo. The Australian will drive in the morning, Max in the afternoon. Mercedes and Ferrari are the other teams providing a car for the test.
Max: “For me the tyres are new. Of course there have been tests with them before, but I’m curious how they feel.” The previous tests with the new compounds was done by the newly crowned GP2 champion and Red Bull Junior Pierre Gasly.
