After announcing the tyre options for the opening rounds of the 2017 Formula 1 season in Australia and China, Pirelli have revealed the compounds available for the Bahrain and Russian Grands Prix.
The options in Bahrain mirror those for China with the medium, soft and super-soft Pirellis on offer. For the fourth round on the calendar, Russia, the Italian tyre supplier opts for the same compounds as used in Melbourne; soft, super-soft and ultra-soft, the three softest sets of rubber developed for this year's championship.
For the 2017 regulations, the rear tyres are now eight cm wider (405mm) compared to last year. The front width has increased 6 cm (305mm).
