After the Formula 1’s sole supplier of tyres Pirelli announced the compounds for the first four Grand Prix-weekends, they have now also revealed those to be used in Spain, Monaco, Canada and Azerbaijan.
The drivers will have at their disposal the soft, medium and hard compound tyres in Spain. For Monaco and Canada Pirelli will supply the three softer compounds: the ultra-soft, the super-soft and the soft. Baku will see the drivers use the super-soft, the soft and the medium.
Pirelli will determine how many sets of each compound the teams will get for the first five races of the season. From Spain onwards the teams will be allowed to choose how many sets of each compound they will require.
