The F1 Grand Prix team set up by Lola Cars from Huntingdon, Great Britain, has gone into liquidation. It is understood that the other race activities of Lola will be continued. The whole team, including both drivers, has been fired. The Lola team made its debut in 1962 at the Gp of the Netherlands with a Climax engine. The team has a history of withdrawals and restarts. The previous withdrawal was after the GP of Portugal in 1993.
