Looking back at the opening of Max Verstappen store

Last Saturday, the only official Max Verstappen store opened its doors for the very first time. From all over the country, fans swarmed to Swalmen in the province of Limburg. The first ones were even waiting for over an hour before the actual opening of the store. During the first day of opening, some two thousand visitors were welcomed, some even all the way from France and the UK.

The store is the physical location of Verstappenshop.nl and offers the full online collection in-store. Apart from all the Max Verstappen merchandise, unique Max Verstappen racing memorabilia will be on display in the shop, such as helmets from both his Formula 1 and Formula 3 career. Highlights are the helmet he wore at his first ever Grand Prix in Melbourne 2015, the one he used during his first win (Spain 2016) and his current 2017 Red Bull Racing helmet.

If you’re visiting, there is plenty of (free) parking available as well as the opportunity to try on the clothes. The shop will soon be a collection point for orders placed on Verstappenshop.nl also. Note: only payment by card is accepted.

Opening hours:
Wednesday to Friday from 1.30pm to 5.30pm.
Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
Sunday (when there’s a Grand Prix on) from 10am to 5pm.
