Twenty one races in 2018: France and Germany are back

At the meeting of the FIA World Motor Sport Council in Geneva, the Formula 1-race calendar for 2018 has been approved. As expected, there are 21 races scheduled. Malaysia is not on the list, while France and Germany have made their come back.
The French Grand Prix, not on the calendar since 2008, will be held at circuit Paul Ricard in the South of France. As usual, the season will get underway in Melbourne for the Australian Grand Prix on 25 March and will finish exactly eight months later in Abu Dhabi. The final Grand Prix will take place there on 25 November.
