Pirelli announces tyre choices Singapore Grand Prix

Pirelli, Formula 1’s sole tyre supplier, has announced the tyre choices the respective teams have made for the Singapore Grand Prix. Standing out is the fact that out of the top teams, Mercedes is the only one to have gone for nine sets of the ultra-soft compound tyre. Other squads, like Red Bull Racing, Ferrari, Force India and Williams have all opted for ten sets of the ultra’s.
Where McLaren used to be one for a more aggressive choice of tyres, the rest of the teams don’t differ that much this time round.
Also, there are some differences between the drivers themselves. Leader in the standings, Lewis Hamilton, has gone for two sets of the soft and super soft tyres. His team mate Valtteri Bottas just one set of the soft compound and three of the super soft. Ferrari-driver Sebastian Vettel is the only one to have just one set of the super soft compound at his disposal.
