The Tyrrell team has arrived at the Autodromo Oscar Galvez circuit in Buenos Aires, Argentina where they are preparing for the Grand Prix that will take place next weekend. The Brazilian performance has given the team some confidence and the team is hopeful that the nature of Argentine circuit is better suited for the car. Some aerodynamic changes have been made to the car to improve downforce.

The spare car has been set up for Mika Salo for the next race. Chassisnumbers are:
