The original and Max’ first Formula 1 car on display in Max Verstappen store

The Max Verstappen store, which opened its doors last June in Swalmen (The Netherlands), is more than just a physical location for Verstappenshop.nl. Apart from all Max Verstappen and Red Bull Racing merchandise, there are also unique items from Max’ career on display: different trophy’s, race overalls and helmets, including the Barcelona 2016 helmet with which Max took home his first Formula 1-victory.

Now, a real Formula 1-car has been added and better yet, it’s the original Scuderia Toro Rosso STR10, the car with which Max made his Formula 1-debut on March 15th 2015 at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. The Scuderia Toro Rosso-driver is at that moment the youngest ever Formula 1-driver, just 17 years old. In his second race, on March 29th in Malaysia, Max comes in seventh fastest and scores his first points, once again as the youngest ever Formula 1-driver.

His best results that year are two fourth place finishes at the Hungarian and USA Grand Prix. Max finishes the season, after nineteen races, with 49 points in twelfth position in the standings of the Formula 1-championship. This STR10, which represents a piece of motorsport history for Max now, can now be admired in its full glory in the Max Verstappen store.

Till October 29th, the store’s openings hours have been extended: from Wednesday to Friday from 10.00 till 17.30 hours and on Saturdays and Sundays, from 10.00 till 17.00 hours. The store’s address is: Bosstraat 91A, 6071 XT Swalmen. Payments by (credit) card only.
