Abu Dhabi contest has a winner!

Together with the Max Verstappen web shop, Verstappen.nl set up a contest for round twenty: the prize was a Max Verstappen/Red Bull Racing jacket. There were 459 participants.

The fastest lap time of Max during the race in Abu Dhabi had to be predicted. On lap 43 the Dutch Red Bull Racing-driver noted a 1:42.028, being his fastest lap time of the race. With a 1:42.033 Karen Butt was off by only five thousandths of a second! By no means is she the true winner of the Max Verstappen/Red Bull Racing jacket. She partook in our new and improved contest section.  

“I am so chuffed”, says a delighted Karen from Jersey. She has been a Formula 1 fan all her life. “My son and I have supported Max ever since he started in Formula 1 and we have no doubt he will be world champion soon. Max is the most exciting driver I have seen in years with real determination and guts.”

“Max did the best his car would allow him to”, says the winner about the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. She continues: “We went to see him in Monaco this year and are planning on where we will go and see him in 2018. I think 2018 will be a big year for Max and Red Bull Racing, hopefully to end the Mercedes dominance. Go Max go!”
