Horner happy after first day: "A good start"

Red Bull Racing enjoyed a good start to its 2018 campaign. Daniel Ricciardo, who set the fastest lap of the day, completed laps in the new RB14.
Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing's team principal, was encouraged by his team's start: "It was a positive morning. After a long winter, it's good to see the cars on track. We started well, a lot better than last year. This morning we completed almost more laps than the whole of the first test week last year."
Despite Ricciardo setting the pace, Horner remained cautious: "We're not focussing on lap times, it's all about completing our program. Also, Mercedes are the reigning champions and have won three titles on the trot. They're looking good so they are the bench mark. Our aim is to close the gap and be as close to them as possible."
On Tuesday, Max Verstappen will enjoy his first outing in the RB14.
