Exact, partner of Max Verstappen, was in Barcelona for their annual Accountancy Summit. As to be expected a meeting was scheduled between Max and Exact during their visit to the circuit. Welcomed by Phill Robinson, the CEO of Exact, Max acknowledges that he is very pleased with the long-term partnership.
Of course, there is also discussions about the performance during the test days and the expectations that Max has. "It’s very difficult to make any statements about this right now. Nobody shows their full potential just yet. The final two test days you might get an impression of where everyone stands. But we’ll have to wait for Melbourne." Max continues: “But I am positive. So far everything looks good. The car is certainly better than last year. A lot of work has been done in the wind tunnel and we made a lot of progress. I am looking forward to racing again."
One of the follow up questions from the audience mentions the large amounts of data that Exact analyzes. What kind of data would you like to have to improve yourself? "I would love to have the data of the other teams", Max quips. "That would be real helpful. And specifically, the data of their power units."
The questions continue for a while, after which the visit comes to an end by taking the necessary photos. Max then continues on towards the hospitality unit of Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, where a lot of meetings are scheduled with international journalists. Even on a day like this, when Max is not driving, the 20-year old racecar driver has a very busy schedule.
