Pirelli announces tyre choices Bahrain Grand Prix

Pirelli, F1’s sole tyre supplier, has announced the tyre choices the respective teams have made for the Bahrain Grand Prix. The drivers have the medium, soft and super-soft Pirelli tyre compounds at their disposal for the second race-weekend of the season.
Aston Martin Red Bull Racing will be running on two sets of the medium rubbers, four sets of the softs and seven of the super-softs in Bahrain. Ferrari and Mercedes have also made the same tyre choice, albeit that Valtteri Bottas has swapped one set of the mediums for an additional set of the soft compound. McLaren has gone all out by going for not less than nine sets of the super-softs.
Apart from Mercedes, we see different strategies between the drivers at Williams, Toro Rosso, Haas and Sauber as well. The difference lies in the amount of medium and soft tyres.
