Pirelli announces tyre choices for the teams in Baku

Pirelli, the tyre supplier in Formula 1, has announced the tyre choices for the teams in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. At the challenging street circuit in the capital Baku, the drivers have access to the soft, super-soft and ultra-soft Pirelli tyres.

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing teammates Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo have both opted for two sets of softs, three sets of super soft and eight sets of ultrasofts. At Ferrari, both Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen opt for ten sets of the ultrasoft tyre compound. Also Stoffel Vandoorne and both Sauber drivers go for as many sets of the softest rubber.

Notably, the Renault team and Lance Stroll chose four sets of supersofts, while Kimi Raikkonen only has one set of these tyres at his disposal.
