Published on 10 July 2018 by Raymond Snip

Pirelli, the Formula 1 tyre supplier, will complete a two-day tyre test at the Silverstone track Tuesday and Wednesday following the British Grand Prix.

This time, besides Aston Martin Red Bull Racing, invitations went also out to the Williams and Haas F1 teams to test the prototype tyres for the upcoming season.

In a press release, after the first day of testing, Pirelli announced that the three teams had completed a total of 252 laps to collect the much-needed data. The test on Tuesday took place in dry conditions.

Robert Kubica was driving the car for Williams, while Romain Grosjean and Sebastien Buemi were on track for Haas F1 and Red Bull Racing.

Max Verstappen will drive the RB14 for Red Bull Racing on Wednesday. Kubica will also participate for the Williams team on the second test day. As of yet, it is unclear who will drive the Haas F1 car.
