Italian Jarno Trulli, currently driving for Minardi, will replace Olivier Panis at the Prost team until Panis has recovered from his injuries caused by his crash at the Canadian Grand Prix. Teamboss Alain Prost said: "During tests, Trulli showed he knew how to combine speed and consistency. He also showed a good ability to adapt."

Trulli has done many test jobs for the team already. He performed his most recent test just last week at Magny-Cours. No announcements have been made by Minardi about the replacement of Jarno Trulli.
