Following the Grand Prix in Bahrain this weekend, the Formula 1 teams will remain in the middle-east for their first taste of in-season testing as Aston Martin Red Bull Racing continues their development with the RB15 for the 2019 campaign.
Red Bull Junior driver Dan Ticktum will be sharing the driving duties with Max Verstappen. Dan has been a member of the Red Bull Junior Team since 2017 and following a successful 2018 season in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, where he finished second, coupled with consecutive Macau Grand Prix victories, Dan will now take the next step with an official F1 test in the RB15.
Max will take the wheel on Tuesday (2nd April) before handing over to Dan on Wednesday (3rd April). 2019 also sees Dan continue his racing education, competing in Japan’s highly competitive Super Formula championship with Honda for Mugen Motorsport.
