Pirelli announces tyre choices of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix

Pirelli, the tyre supplier for the Formula 1, has announced the tyre choices the different teams made for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix. During the race weekend on the Baku Street Circuit, the teams have the middle three compounds at their disposal, those are the C2, the C3 and the C4. The C2 (the hardest compound) is the white striped tyre, while the C3 (medium) and the C4 (soft) are respectively yellow and red striped.

Noticeable is the different choices the top teams made, of which Aston Martin Red Bull racing, with nine sets of the soft compound, is the most aggressive. Both Ferraris chose seven sets of the soft tyre, while both Mercedes chose eight sets of the soft tyre.

Renault, McLaren and Racing Point all chose a maximum of 10 sets of the soft compound.
