Pirelli announces tyre choices Bahrain Grand Prix

Pirelli, Formula 1’s sole tyre supplier, have announced the selection of tyres the teams have made for the Bahrain Grand Prix. For the second race of the season at the Bahrain International Circuit, the teams will have at their disposal the C2-, C3- and C4-tyres, marked respectively white, yellow and red.

Half of the teams, including Williams, Haas F1, Alfa Romeo, Renault and McLaren take eight sets of the soft compound to Melbourne. The drivers of Racing Point, AlphaTauri and Mercedes will have to do with seven sets of the softest tyre.

Ferrari and Aston Martin Red Bull Racing are the most conservative in their tyre choice. Both top teams chose to supply their drivers with six sets of the soft tyre.
