Max Verstappen voted Driver of the Day after victory Silverstone

Max Verstappen has been voted ‘Driver of the Day’ after a very strong race at Silverstone. Fans all over the world voted during the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, the Dutchman received the most votes.

The quick Dutchman started the Grand Prix from fourth position on the grid and overtook Nico Hülkenberg straight after the lights went out into P3. Max was the only one in the top ten to start on the hard tyre, with some good tyre management, combined with a superb race strategy, he could pressure both Mercedes and overtake them in the end. His racing style and fighting spirit was valued by the fans who voted him ‘Driver of the Day’.
