Max Verstappen voted Driver of the Day after P2 in Sochi

Max Verstappen has been voted ‘Driver of the Day’ for the third time this seasonafter a well-deserved second place at the Sochi Autodrom. Fans worldwide casted their votes during the Russian Grand Prix of which the Dutchman amassed the most.

The quick Dutchman started the Grand Prix from second position and fell back to third after the first couple of laps. Because of two time penalties Lewis Hamilton ended behind the Aston Martin Red Bull Racing driver. This order did not change for the rest of the race, which was won by Valtteri Bottas. Splitting the Mercedes is a good result for Max, rewarded by the fans with the title ‘Driver of the Day’.
