Max wins the virtual VCO 24 Hours of Nurburgring with Team Readline

Together with Max Benecke and Chris Lulham, Max Verstappen took the victory in a GT3 car at the iRacing VCO 24 Hours of Nürburging.
Ahead of the race, qualifying proved to be a close fight with the top four covered by a second; a small margin considering the length of the 26km long Nordschleife. Nvertheless, it was Ream Readline that claimed pole position with Benecke taking the start.
After a few opening laps of the lead changing hands due to the strong slimpstream effect, the #73 entry of Max, Benecke and Lulhalm started to extend their gap at the head of the race.
Max jumped into the car for his first stint, six hours into the race with lead of over a minute on the second placed #55 car run by BMW Team GB. Problems meant the British team dropped down the order. However, a steady pace ensured a third place at the end, behind Team BMW Bank in second, and the overall winners of Team Redline.
