FIA rejects Red Bull's request to review Hamilton's Silverstone penalty

The ten second penalty awarded to Lewis Hamilton after colliding with Max Verstappen in the British Grand Prix stands firm after the FIA rejected Red Bull Racing's petition to review the penalty.
To succeed in getting the review, Red Bull needed to convince the stewards that it had new evidence. However, the Stewards did not deem the evidence brought forward as "a significant and relevant new element [that was] discovered which was unavailable to the parties seeking the review at the time of the decision concerned".
It means Hamilton’s 10-second time penalty stands and so does his race win. It means the reigning champion narrowed the gap to Verstappen in the championship to just eight points, as opposed to the 33 point gap before the race.
