Max to test the new RB18 all day on Wednesday and Friday morning

OnWednesday 23 Februari, the first day of the opening pre-season test at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Max Verstappen will drive the new Oracle Red Bull RB18. Teammate Sergio Perez will sample the 2022 challenger on Thursday, before the two Red Bull racers will split testing duties on the final day of the first test, with Max driving in the morning session.

At the launch of the RB18, Max said: “I’m looking forward to get back in the car and hit the track. I want to feel and experience the new car. I’m fully recharged and ready to race. We don’t know what to expect from the car so I’m curious to see how it behaves on track.”

Following the three-day test in Spain, the second and final pre-season test will take place in Bahrain (10-12 March), a week before the Bahrain Grand Prix, the opening race of this year's 23-round championship.
