The times of the second free practice showed that lots of drivers were saving their tyres for the rest of the weekend. Frentzen for example was ninth while Villeneuve was found on position 20! The time from Frentzen this morning was fastest today. In the second session, Barrichello set the fastest time in 1:11.798 followed by Fisichella, Hakkinen, Coulthard, Berger and Diniz. The team mate of Barrichello, Jan Magnussen was found on position 22nd!

Jos drove a lot faster then this morning. He ended up during the second session in 1:14.188 on position 19, just 0.1 sec behind Mika Salo.
