Jos was again very fast in the morning session of the first day of practice before the Spanish GP. He ended the session as fourth, just behind Hill, Schumacher and Irvine. In the afternoon session Jos did'nt improve his time. As some others did improve their time, Jos dropped back to the tenth place. See Spanish Grand Prix results for the the practice times.
