Max previews US GP: 'Ultimate goal is to win both championships'

This weekend Max Verstappen will race at Circuit of The Americas for the United States Grand Prix, which he will be visiting as double Formula 1 world champion. The Dutchman says: “It was special to secure the drivers’ championship in Japan. I didn’t get the chance to celebrate too much as we’re still focused on securing the constructors’ championship for the team. The ultimate goal is of course to win both, but we need to keep our heads down. It will come if we keep performing well.”

The Oracle Red Bull Racing driver continues: “I’m looking forward to the remaining races. It’s great to be back in Austin, I love the city and the track. Winning here last year was amazing and I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do this weekend.”
