Max about his special Austin helmet: 'Really showcases America'

Two-time Formula 1 world champion Max Verstappen will wear a special helmet during the United States Grand Prix in Austin. He says: “I was wondering what I would do in terms of helmet design, because there are many possibilities to make it Texas or Austin style. I decided to use the nice red and blue lines and the stars, just like here on Circuit of The Americas. That really showcases America.”

“On the back, I made a last minute change and added a second championship star. I thought it was beautiful to do that for this Grand Prix. I also keep collecting those stars”, says Max with a laugh. “I am very happy with the end result and think it looks really cool. I hope you will enjoy this helmet as well.”
