Jos forced to postpone start of his 2023 rally season

Published on 18 February 2023 by Niels Hendrix

Jos Verstappen will have to postpone the start of his 2023 rally season next week, with the first round taking place in Haspengauw, Belgium, due to health issues. Jos, who had been in full preparation for the new rally season, recently suffered from migraine-like symptoms.

Jos has undergone medical examinations during the past few days and is back in good health, but with additional medical tests underway, after consultation it has been decided not to get behind the wheel for the time being. Jos, who will travel now to Bahrain to follow Max’ exploits there, is obviously very disappointed with the situation. But his health is a priority, and as soon as the situation allows it and he’s given the green light, he will be back to his passion, rallying, right away.
