Mika Hakkinen was fastest in the warm-up for the European Grand Prix in Jerez with a time of 1:23.016. Behind him were the cars of Gerhard Berger, Olivier Panis, David Coulthard, Jacques Villeneuve and Johnny Herbert. Times set today were quite a bit slower than those set in yesterday's qualifying.
