Jos in action with historical McLaren during Grand Prix weekend at Red Bull Ring

Next week, from 30 June to 2 July, the Grand Prix of Austria will be held at the Red Bull Ring. Not only Max Verstappen, but his father Jos will also be on the track in Spielberg.

Jos will participate in the so called Legends Parade, during which fans will see six historical cars from the 60’s and 70’s, with the loud V8 engines. Jos will take place behind the wheel of a McLaren M8F from 1972, which has almost 800 horsepower.

The Legends Parade will take place on both Saturday (18:05 local time) and Sunday (12:25 local time). Other former racing drivers that will participate are David Coulthard (McLaren M6B), Juan Pablo Montoya (McLaren M8F), Mark Webber (Lola 1165) and Alexander Wurz (McLaren M8C). Red Bull-advisor Helmut Marko will also make an appearance during the Legends Parade in a BRM 157 from 1070.
