Max named Driver of the Day after brilliant performance at Spa-Francorchamps

After a strong victory in the Grand Prix of Belgium, Max Verstappen has been named Driver of the Day for the third time this session. Fans casted their votes during the race at Spa-Francorchamps, of which the Dutchman eventually collected the most.

The driver of Oracle Red Bull Racing quickly worked his way up to P2, after starting P6 because of a grid penalty. After his pitstop, Verstappen quickly closed the gap to teammate Perez, only to overtake the Mexican on lap 17, after which he never relinquished the lead. It meant the eight Grand Prix victory in a row for Verstappen, who is now leading the Drivers Championship with a gap of 125 points to his teammate Perez.
