Verstappen.com Racing is represented in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint Cup (GTWC Sprint) by Thierry Vermeulen, who drives a Ferrari 296 GT3 of Emil Frey Racing. The 21-year-old Dutchman made his appearance last weekend during the event at Valencia in Spain.

Thierry says: “The GT World Challenge weekend in Valencia is done and it was a very positive weekend overall. I scored my first double podium in GT3, so I am very happy. We all worked very hard to get to this moment. We’ve been quick the last couple of races, but of course you have to put it all together to be on the podium.”

“Big thanks to my teammate Albert Costa and the team we were strong throughout the weekend, no matter what the conditions. I think we showed great things this weekend, but of course we want more so we will keep working hard.”

Looking forward to coming weekend, Thierry continues: “It’s on to the Red Bull Ring for DTM next weekend. I am very excited for that, we have raced there the last couple of years. It’s an amazing track with amazing facilities. We have tested there at the beginning of the season, so I am excited to see how we will perform there, as it's a very different track.”

“It was a nice feeling to come home with two trophies and enjoy a few days off before the next race. A big thank you to my sponsors and all the helpers this season who have helped me get to this moment. We will keep pushing hard!”
