The appeal that was lodged by Williams against the disqualification of Jacques Villeneuve for the 'yellow flag incident' last Saturday will be heard on October 21 by the FIA in Paris. If Jacques is indeed disqualified he will lose his 2 points of last Sunday and his 1 point lead over Michael Schumacher will then change in a 1 point trail. We will hold the results of our prize contest until that date.

From October 29 until November 2 the Speed & Design exhibit will be staged in Utrecht, The Netherlands. The traditional annual fanclubmeeting will also be held there. This year the Jos Verstappen Info Page has it's own stand, close to the fanclub stand, where we look forward to seeing you all. We are very busy with the preparations for the Jos Verstappen Internet Kart days on November 16 and 29 from 9.00 hrs. in the morning until 17.00 hrs. in the afternoon. There is a maximum of 500 competitors on both days together. On these days you can kart 2 times and there are a number of other nice activities. A competition will be held and the best can kart against Jos Verstappen who is present on both days. Taking part in the event costs Dfl. 50,- per person and the registration starts next Monday (October 20) at 20.00 hrs. CET. Registration will be handled in sequence of entry.
