Max Verstappen will have a new performance coach, starting next season. Rupert Manwaring will replace Bradley Scanes, who has worked with Max for the past four years.
The collaboration between Verstappen and Scanes started before the 2020 Formula 1 season. The two worked closely together for the past four years, during which many milestones have been achieved, including three world titles and 46 victories. Rupert Manwaring will be taking over from Scanes, and will work with Max to prepare the Dutchman for the races. Manwaring comes over from Scuderia Ferrari, where he was the performance coach of Carlos Sainz, Max's former teammate at Scuderia Toro Rosso.
