Yesterday a rumour came up that Gerhard Berger could possibly be driving with Ferrari again next year to replace Eddie Irvine. Berger has confirmed that he spoke with Ferrari-boss Luca di Montezemolo but this was arranged some weeks ago. Berger confirms nor denies the rumour and has furthermore declared: "To step back is a bit too early for me. There is a good possibility that I will also drive next year." Before going to Benetton Berger has driven for Ferrari for six years.
