Max Verstappen, wearing the bull since 2015

Published on 03 March 2024 by Niels Hendrix

When Max Verstappen made his debut in Australia in 2015 as the youngest Formula 1 driver ever, no one could have predicted that in 2024 the Dutchman would begin his tenth season in the sport as a three-time Formula 1 world champion. Dr. Helmut Marko had the foresight to take 17-year-old rookie Max under Red Bull’s wing and instal him in sister-team Scuderia Toro Rosso. Within a year and a half, he got a seat at top team Red Bull Racing. Immediately, he won the 2016 Spanish Grand Prix, making him the youngest race winner ever.

With that promotion in 2016, Max is now onto his eleventh team line outfit. Year after year there remains one common motif: the bull that Max has been sporting on his clothes since 2015. In contrast, each year is marked with unique achievements and experiences.

To promote the launch of the new Oracle Red Bull Racing Official Teamline for 2024, Verstappen.com returned to the ten previous collections, by cataloguing all versions of the kit from 2015 onward. After doing some urgent canvassing and with the assistance of some of Max’s superfans, we managed to unearth a polo or T-shirt and matching cap from each year. But not without hitting the archive and overturning the attics and cupboards.

In reminiscing the best moments of Max’s ten years in Formula 1 were awakened. These highlights were captured in photographs. The unwritten story of 2024 has yet to unfold - evidenced by the empty photo frames in the video above - but the 2024 team line that Max is currently sporting within the paddock is already available in stores in Swalmen (near Roermond) and Batavia Stad Fashion Outlet (Lelystad) and, of course, on Verstappen.com: https://www.verstappen.com/collections/red-bull-racing-official-teamline
