Max reveals his US GPs helmet: 'Already created great memories in the US'

Max Verstappen has revealed his special helmet for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix, that is the first of three Grands Prix in the United States of America. Max tells: “This helmet is for the US Grands Prix. We tried to do something different this year. In the last few years we came with different designs for single Grands Prix. I thought it would be cool to keep my design similar for all three US Grands Prix this year.”

Max explains the reasoning behind this choice: “My favourite thing about racing in the US is the fans. They are really passionate and love motorsport in general, not only Formula 1. We always try to put on a show for everyone and I think they appreciate that. We also get to race on some quite unique tracks, from street circuits to the great track in Austin. The country is so big, that what you see in Miami is very different from Austin and Las Vegas. It’s really nice to be able to experience a bit more of the country.”

Looking at his predominantly blue US Grands Prix helmet, Max says with pride: “I really like the light blue colours on it, it looks quite fresh. The American flag is on the back, which is a nice touch. I think it’s a slick design. We created a lot of great memories already in all the US Grands Prix, from Miami to Austin and Las Vegas. I’m definitely looking forward to being able to drive this helmet around all the US tracks.”
