Verstappen.com Racing is represented in the DTM and GT World Challenge Sprint (GTWC) by Thierry Vermeulen, who drivers a Ferrari 296 GT3 of Emil Frey Racing. The Dutchman previews the upcoming DTM weekend at the Red Bull Ring.
“It’s race week again and I am super excited to be back at the Red Bull Ring”, says Thierry. “I have had a little bit of time off after a successful weekend in Sachsenring. I think we learned a lot from that weekend, where I had my first DTM podium.”
“Now it’s time to head to Red Bull Ring. I believe it will be a little bit less straight forward than Sachsenring, as it’s a very different track, DNA wise, than the Sachsenring with the long straights, heavy braking zones and the last sector where there are some faster corners. Let’s see how we do here. We had a successful test day where we could try lots of different set-ups and different philosophies with the car so we are ready to get started.”
Thierry adds: “I hope many of you will be supporting us on site. The Red Bull Ring is an amazing track to visit so if you do have time, get your tickets and join us this weekend for the racing action. Like always it will be a fantastic ambiance, and if not, of course you can follow us on Viaplay in the Netherlands and Youtube everywhere else. I will certainly make the most of the weekend and enjoy it to the maximum!”
