Italian Judge Costanze gave his verdict today in the Ayrton Senna case. The five proscecuted men, amongst them Patrick Head and Adrian Newey of Williams' technical staff and three officials were not convicted because there was not enough evidence to prove them guilty on Senna's death.

Next Thursday the French Minister of Sports will have a meeting with FIA President Max Mosley to discuss the problems of the French Grand Prix. Last week the FIA decided to cancel the French race for 1998 because of a TV rights conflict. Should the matter be resolved the French Grand Prix could be brought back on the calender.
