Today Jos started a 4 day testsession of the English team in Barcelona. The Dutchman drove 80 laps in total on the Catalan circuit where he tested a number of electronical components for next year's car. Tyrrell, which is rumoured to change to Bridgestone tyres next year, was the only team present today in Spain. Most of the teams are evaluating their data from last week's tests at the same circuit.
Verstappen tested the Tyrrell 025X, the car he drove this year adapted to the 98 rules. Jos was quite happy when we spoke him. "It went fine today, we did a fair amount of distance which gave us useful data. Also I was happy to drive again after a 2 month break." Jos said. Verstappen will again drive tomorrow after which he will change over to Toranosuke Takagi who will drive on Thursday and Friday.
