Yesterday the FIA accepted the entry of the Stewart for the 1998 season. Doubts had risen about the financial situation of the team after some sponsors had left (also see our item of November 27). The FIA said about it: "The FIA has now received confirmation from the auditors to Stewart Grand Prix that it has the necessary means to complete the 1998 season."
