Michael Schumacher has denied rumours in the German newspaper Sonntag Aktuell dat he would prematurely end his contract with Ferrari to drive for McLaren-Mercedes in 1999. Michael Schumacher has a contract with Ferrari until the end of 1999. Michael did confess though that McLaren is one of the top teams at this moment and that they are one of the main competitors for Ferrari at this moment. Schumacher furthermore told that he was convinced that Villeneuve wouldn't be able to continue his world title in 1998 and that Ferrari should be able to grab the title again for the first time since 1979.
