Monday Minardi has presented it's new M198 challenger car for the 1998 F1 season at the Industrial Heritage Museum in Bologna. The location was carefully chosen to visualize the cooperation the Faenza based team has with the University of Bologna. The team offers two young graduates, one in Engineering and one in Economics, the opportunity to attend a six-month course at the team’s base. A part from team bos Gian Carlo Minardi the team also introduced it's driver line-up: Shinji Nakano from Japan, Esteban Tuero from Argentina and test driver Laurent Redon from France.
