The team tests of the last weeks have shown that most drivers are setting their fastest times 15 to 20 laps into a session. The cars seem to be getting faster as the tyres wear. A possible cause for this could be the wear of the grooves in the tyres, so the tyres get more 'slick-like'. The FIA is monitoring the situation and it might be possible that tyres will get under new scrutineering rules which may have a minimum groove depth.
